Took this photo while at lunch. The garden outside our window had the most beautiful spider, which I'm putting under a cut so as not to frighten any arachnophobes who might read this blog.
The funniest thing was that, in a gap between two of the web's support threads, was another perfect but much smaller web that a tiny tenant spider had built! And the little boarder was sitting there complacent as anything, so clearly the landlord wasn't going to gobble him/her up. It was great! I wish my camera had been good enough to get that as well.
