Today is my beloved cousin's birthday. He's a bartender and a bit of a hard-partying dudebro, so I made him an appropriate card. 

In a few days it will be his older brother's birthday, and that guy loves Magic cards and MMORPG games, so his card is going to be FUN.

It's my mother's birthday today, so I did her a watercolour! Unfortunately I have no scanner at the moment, so here is a photo instead.

Cotman pan colours on Daler Rowney watercolour paper, with Sakura Koi and Blue Heron waterbrushes.

Originally did this for my aunt, who loves the Dune books and especially the Bene Gesserit. Refined and updated it for my mom, who introduced me to both.

Happy Birthday, Mom!!!

Made a painting for Mom's birthday! Illustrated The Peregrine, one of our favourite books.

And here's the 'self-published' book cover version, hahaha. There's a reason designer and illustrator are two different jobs, I'm afraid.

Also I was so tempted to draw arrows pointing at The Peregrine and J.A. Baker. It's a weakness.
